MAILTEC Postal Scales GmbH specialises in development and production of postage computing scales for letters and parcels. The product line includes scales with maximum capacities of between 2kg and 100kg. All machines offer a high weighing accuracy and can be equipped with interfaces to franking machines, computer and receipt printers. Also a doublesided display or external customer display are available as an option.
MAILTEC is very experienced in meeting the special requirements of its business partners with regard to technical specifications, programming, design and colors. Scales are manufactured as an OEM product and can be sold under customers´ company names. Development and production takes place in Germany.

In 1997 MAILTEC took over the "MESSTEC GmbH" which was established in 1967. In 1977 Messtec was the first European company to produce these kinds of digital postal computer scales. MAILTEC has fully integrated Messtec´s know how, products and production facilities with its own, and has updated and improved the product range accordingly.
